Police have released little information about the life threatening condition of this weekend's shooting victim, in the Camden area of Minneapolis. It was reported that no suspects have been arrested and he was taken to North memorial Hospital. The web is on fire with speculation, accusations and threats on what happened to Skooby. We shall leave it at that.

As I wrote this post to the sounds of gunfire in the background, I started to think that perhaps I had become callous or immune to all this shooting going on around me. I wanted to put my usual spin of concern and empathy for the victim and his family. I DO PRAY for them!! I do pray for his recovery. I hope someone is brave enough to come forward and get this shooter off the street.

However, I am SICK TO DEATH of people holding up signs saying stop the killing, Pastors and Mad Dads saying we must stop the killing and a city that has meetings to develop actions plans. Is there an ETA? Families screaming, we can't lose another young person and Lord help us!! YES WE CAN! YES YOU WILL! We will continue this until you stop letting your sons join GANGS.

Can't wait to see the MAD delinquent Dads jump on this opportunity to condemn what they started in the first place. This is a problem that society can't solve. The black community must decide to stop embracing the culture that celebrates illiterate violent males who shoot at each other over petty squabbles.
Sadly, as there are a lack of opportunities for people with no skills (see his sister's sad attempt at written communication), and the community lacks the ability or interest in steering it's young men away from violence, this fire will continue until it burns itself out.

So does this change the opinion that Nehemiah's killing was not gang related? Nothing has every really come out about that, not that it matters one bit. People are still dying with far too much frequency.
Hopefully the good men & women of the MPD are studying these FB pages and drawing connections to the names published some time back. Sure would be nice to arrest some of the people responsible before any more die!

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities have identified a man who was shot to death early Saturday morning in north Minneapolis.
Minneapolis Police were called at about 1 a.m. Saturday to the 4900 block of Camden Avenue North on a report of multiple shots fired. When officers arrived, they found an adult male who had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and died later that day.
Authorities have identified the victim as 19-year-old Jaylin D’vonte Davis of Brooklyn Center. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner ruled he died of a gunshot wound to his head and his manner of death was a homicide.
Police said no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Anyone with information should call Minneapolis Police.
Perhaps if you had told Skooby that he was no blood,he might still be here. Explain to us all why on many of the photos he posts, including the one above, he titles it "Suuwoo blood''.

Have some compassion for this family!! Whatever pics/ signs of what he had on fb doesnt make it alright that he was killed!! Let this man r.i.p!! Hopefully his family will get justice!!! Putting blame on his past wont get anywhere!! Find a solution to stop the violence!!!!
