MN DOC mugshot, therefore public domain, blog post by
John Hoff
James D. Early, whose act of accidentally shooting his baby nephew in the head horrified a neighborhood usually numb to horror, was the fortunate recipient of an incredibly rather light sentence after the baby, Isaac Early, miraculously survived with a bullet still in his head.
Many of us wondered, cynically, how well that light punishment would work out and if Early would turn his life around and start some clean living.
Well...
An anonymous commenter on this blog asserted James Devone Early was now a fugitive. That sent this blogger scurrying to the MN DOC website and, sure enough, the commenter was right. Early has been a fugitive since June 2.
(Minor side note: The MN DOC spells his middle name "Devon" on its website but it was pretty consistently "Devone" in prior media coverage)
In my blog post of June 9, I said there are times I get "crazy busy" and have to make my blogging count with as much impact as I can manage with my limited time.
I think this photo of this wanted fugitive, responsible for this horrific shooting, is a fine example of that principle.

Never to late to be Early. Stuff him and cuff him.

FUCK ING SHAME and only a few months on paper he should have got life like baby Isaac will suffer for life and the dad was on parole not to be around guns but admitted to touching and taking bullets out but no jail time.f*** the system, just like that was in his gun he found it yeah rightit was his all along but he fooled the judge didn't he ? Poor him just a kid if they only knew that kid ! He's back at it check out the face ! No time served just a slap on the hand bullshit !!!! I hope he catches another case while on the run and let's see how nice the judge is going to be again for this poor kid. !!
For the record, as of today he is STILL a wanted fugitive.
And the system will let him right back out
Yup he only has a couple months on porole
Petra just called him out on his facebook page because he posted that he's in "BP" even though he's a fugitive
plus they might be able to track him since he put his phone number on fb a couple of posts down.
If they were TRYING to track him and making any EFFORT to track him, yes.
