On the same day I got word Devon D. Parker, 20, committed a murder on the day he was supposed to be in court over alleged probation violations, word reaches me that baby-faced criminal Glenn D. Smith has been released on pretrial conditions. Smith, charged over a gang related alley shooting in which a senior citizen was grazed in the face, had been sitting in jail while his son was born.

No doubt playing the "new daddy card" to the max, Smith (who goes by Chief-Chuck So Iicey Smith on Facebook and no, that's NOT a typo) was pictured on Facebook today holding his new son. The jail roster shows Smith was released on "pretrial conditions." Three assault charges were dismissed but Smith still faces burglary and being a prohibited person in possession of a weapon. Smith's trial isn't until May.

I suspect if Smith keeps his nose clean until then...

Glenn Smith's own mother is telling his friends to STAY AWAY FROM COURT, because the presence of Smith's friends isn't helping Smith one bit.

Glenn Smith, who is accused in a gang related shooting, recently became a father while in jail, and whose mother is in control of his Facebook page, had a court hearing recently.

I don't know how it went in court, but judging from what Glenn's mother wrote on Glenn's Facebook page, it didn't go well...

Glenn D. Smith, as I blogged previously, is accused of being involved in a shooting incident in the alley near 1826 Penn Ave. N. which shows every indication of being gang related. Nobody was killed in the incident though a 74-year-old male bystander was grazed in the face by a bullet. Smith is in jail on $200,000 bail, total, and charged with four weapons related felonies. There is videotape documenting at least part of the alley shooting incident so guess what? This guy is probably going away for a while.

Smith has documented his life prolifically on Facebook, where he has 1,651 followers. He has been on Facebook since 2010, so that would be since approximately the age 16 since his birthday is April 17, 1994 and he is currently just NINETEEN years old. (However, Smith has a "baby face" which makes him appear much younger)

It will take more than one blog post to reveal the trail of treasures Smith (a/k/a Chief Chuck So Iicey Smith, a/k/a Chief Chuck Got-Hoess Smith) has shared with the world. For the moment, I am ONLY going to comment upon the photos which explicitly include firearms, of which there are quite a few.

Glenn D. Smith is sitting in jail at the moment, charged in a back alley shooting in which a bullet grazed the face of a 74-year-old bystander near 1826 Penn Ave. N. Click here for the criminal complaint. The shooting happened on September 11.

It is alleged that Glenn Danen Smith, pictured above from Facebook where he is "Chief Chuck So Iicy Smith" was involved in the shooting. Police allege Smith and another young guy named Kevin Lamont Johnson were chasing two other young men through the alley, trying to shoot them, when the senior citizen was grazed in the face by one of their bullets.

Smith is now in the Hennepin County Jail on a total of $200,000 bail over four felony charges, all of which involve weapons. Smith came to the attention of this blog in April of last year because he was...
