We Burn "We Buy Houses" Signs...

On Sunday, I put together a last-minute father/son activity with my 12-year-old, Alex: we went around collecting the "We Buy Houses" signs littering the grassy boulevards of NoMi. My blog post about this activity actually made the Twin Cities Daily Planet, hooray.

Well, it's Thanksgiving and I have visitation with my son AGAIN. We'll be enjoying our Thanksgiving with the fine men and women of the Fourth Precinct but, in the meantime, we thought it would be fun to have a little bonfire. So we burned the signs and roasted some Peeps.

ADDENDUM: The signs are cardboard. The wood is not laminated. And, oh, the dog is inside a fenced yard.

For the record.

(Do not click "Read More" but DO help clean up the boulevards of NoMi)

OK I GET IT, KEEP THE STREETS CLEAR OF SIGNS THAT CAN OFFER A SOLUTION TO HOMEOWNERS THAT ARE IN FINANCIAL TROUBLES CONTINUE TO BE TAKEN OVER BY THE BANKS AND BRING DOWN THE VALUE OF EVERYONES HOMES. HOW ABOUT JUST BURN DOWN THE HOMES INSTEAD.?

While you grow up you are going to understand that Real estate Agents are workers who need the money for their families. You are destroying someones work instead of creating something for your own. When you were an adult you will take shame for your behavior.

Obey the law and keep your crap-tastic sign spam off our boulevards.

Most billboards break the 200 feet law(too close to highway)are you going to cut those down too?

Um. Most of these "We Buy Houses" outfits are scammers who steal what equity financially-pressed and panicked people have in their homes. They are preying on the vulnerable and desperate.
