Photo and blog post by John Hoff
I saw these signs posted in an alley on Newton Ave. N. and I just had to wonder...did it work? Did people stop dumping crap in the alley for the resident to pick up?
You don't see signs like this in...
...the alleys of Edina. But, then again, who wants to live in Edina? Ok, some people (obviously) but not me. I like my rapidly transforming neighborhood, its flaws and challenges.
If I already lived in urban utopia, I would move somewhere else and make THAT place urban utopia.
Since the signs are made of cardboard, I'm sure they won't last long in the weather. And so, like a rare and precious butterfly, I wanted to preserve them in a photograph. Enjoy.

I'm surprised you didn't tear down those signs.
Well, that's just stupid. Why would I tear down a sign on private property? Are you really that stupid, or are you just feigning that you don't understand the difference?
Well we've seen other cases on this blog where you don't seem concerned about private property. IE: The Fjelde House, Stealing ladders, removing phone books from private property. Butt Glass, Butt Fences
