Deontray Vashon Tate is accused in a triple shooting that injured two men and a four-year-old boy. To the credit of Tate, he is either a terrible marksman or wasn't actually trying to kill anybody. According to the criminal complaint, click here, Tate hit all four victims in the lower body. One media outlet is reporting the child needed surgery to realign his leg bones.
The argument which led to the shooting was reportedly sparked by the mother of the 4-year-old boy, described as the wife of one of the shooting victims. The mother reportedly beat up another woman and this led to the retaliatory shooting. In case there was any doubt about why the shooting took place, Tate reportedly...
...opened up his big yap and made a point of SAYING why he shot those people.
It should be noted Tate seemed to have an accomplice and there's no word about him being arrested. Video from the Quick Stop at 3601 Penn Ave. N. solved the crime.
The criminal complaint lists Tate's address as 723 Sheridan Ave. N. This is a homesteaded property owned by somebody named Somer J. French. The address was part of the North Minneapolis foreclosure epidemic back in 2009.

At the meeting at Folwell regarding this crime,the city officials asked for help from the community to solve it. They already knew who committed the shooting so I feel decieved by them & lost trust.
Yeah, why aren't they having a meeting to say, "Can you help us FIND this person?"
Why are there no marches for this little boy? Nothing from Obama?

my friend was one of the people shot...he didnt try to hit the lil kid..he was jus being reckless...he lucky the police caught him
I hope they lock him up and throw away the key!! So what if his wife got beat up...that does not give you a reason to pick up a gun. You coward!!! How would you feel if the tables were turned and your child got shot? People like this are sick and have know value of the human life. What if the bullet travled and hit a main artery, killing all of them?! I know both parties really well. The dirt bag who did the shooting has done things like this in the past. Has never had a REAL Job sold drugs and abused women his entire life. PLEASE PUNISH HIM TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.
I think there's two sides to every story and I pray for them I truly do for someone to fight a child how low are you as adults it should have been handled differently instead of either child being hurt this is just stupidity if you ask me
Maybe his son 10yr son shouldn't have jumped on that 4yr boy resulting in the mother's having to resolve the issue! Learn your facts the mother of the 4yo was defending her son as any any mother should.
Everybody just talking nobody stating the whole story! Tate has a 10yo son who beat up the 4yo when his mother stepped in things escalated. The mothers begin to fight instead of being adults they stooped down to the children's level. Nobody is better than the other in this story. This all could have been avoided had the adults act like just that adults. None- the-less it started off as fighting it should have ended that way. Further more WHOEVER SAYS HE DIDNT TRY TO SHOT THE 4YR IS DEAD WRONG IF YOU WALK UP TO A CAR WITH ONE MAN AND TWO CHILDREN IN IT AND START SHOOTING WHAT IS YOUR REAL INTENTIONS??
