"Drug Activity" Was Suspected At 2818 Colfax Ave. N. Around December Of 2013, Address Was Site Of Fatal Fire That Killed 5 Children...

(DEAD LINKS, for illustration only)

Previous 1 3
In trying to dig up every nugget of info about 2818 Colfax Ave. N., the site of a fatal fire that claimed the lives of five children yesterday, Valentine's Day, I came across some information on the Fourth Precinct CARE Task Force website...

That website is a clunky anachronism, an analog dinosaur in a digital world, but every now and then something useful has been documented there.

A Google search of "2818 Colfax Ave. N." turns up a hit associated with that website, but only by viewing the "cached" information does anything become visible. From a Google cache dated December 15 2013, it would appear an entry existed showing neighbors suspected drug activity at the address.

Eight old names turn up there, as well, showing the transient nature of the property.

Niecie Brown.

Shanay Merritt

Trenetta S. Richardson.

Myana Williams.

Samantha Owens.

Tarriann Powell.

Myesha Powell.

George Banks.

Any of these folks might be somebody fire investigators might want to talk to about, gee, were there problems with the wiring as one citizen (Lachonce Buckner) is reporting secondhand on CBS Minnesota, click here.

Only a piece of shit blogger like you, John Hoff, would make such a blog post.
You are an unethical hack, the lowest life form on earth. You are a vermin, a parasite that preys on the tragedy of others. You are a heartless bastard who should rot in Hell with the likes of binLaden, Hitler, and Saddam.

Children are dead!!!
And you blog about drug activity ?
As to imply that it's ok they're dead because of drugs?
I knew this blog was filled with hate, just didn't know how deep.
5 children dead is a tragedy no matter what race, no matter if their mother smoked and sold crack!
I would say this is a new low. But from what I've read you have no low !!!

You obviously don't live in North do you 11:56. Go back to your tiny burb and continue to wish away all the bad in the world, however, don't continue to stick all of your bad problems in North Minneapolis, this is the result.

I guarantee you it was an electric fire caused by a space heater. These inner City residents like to keep their houses or apartments at 80 degrees and run around with nothing on. It taxes any heating system as cold as this winter has been and then they resort to additional electric heaters with extension cords to keep it at 80 degrees!

Really? Funny! I live in the inner city and I ususally have clothes on or the very least a cute pink jogging lounge outfit. John, do you turn the heat up and run around naked in the inner city? Inquiring minds want to know. Some of the commenters must have had lead in their suburban homes, growing up.

I am still trying to figure out why "city" was capitalized.

I suppose Bertelson's Property seemed like a dream after having Khan as a Slumlord.

This crap needs to stop! The City needs to do a better job of making sure these tenements are livable!

Do I need to explain the phrase "transient nature of the property" to you or can you get a little help from an online dictionary?
