Murder victim Parrish Gray's street name was "Stony P" or "P Stony," take your pick. Using this piece of info somebody kindly dropped in my ear, I managed to turn up a tribute video on YouTube, embedded above.
The video features a song which was written expressly as a tribute to Parrish Gray and is titled "Born Alone, Die Alone." The video was not created to inform journalists or the public about the circumstances of Gray's death and yet contains a number of accidentally informative nuggets...
Gray went by "Stone Gray" on Facebook. Disappointingly, his profile has high privacy settings, but something he wrote on Facebook, May 24, "near Minneapolis" survives in the tribute video, as follows:
"If you fuck with me and you really fuck me please I mean please God forbid anything every (sic) happens to me but if it does please don't write R.I.P. STONY ON YOUR STATUS OR SHIRT AND THEN GO FUCK WITH THE NIGGAS WHO DID IT FUCK YOU ON MY LIFE."
I've read this several times and I'm still not sure of its precise meaning, but here's my guess at what it means in the King's proper English.
"If you hang around with me, or if you are one of my lovers, please, I mean please, God forbid anything should ever happen to me but let's suppose it does. If I'm killed by somebody, in that case don't go writing R.I.P. STONY on your (Facebook) status or a (tribute) t-shirt, but then go (hypocritically) hang around with the same people that did it. Fuck you you if you do. If that happens, with my dying words, FUCK YOU."
I am not completely confident of my interpretation. I am not even a LITTLE confident of my interpretation. Readers are welcome to try their hand. The same video contains the phrase "P.I.L. P.5STONEY which seems to be "gang code" for R.I.P. P STONEY. (Both the "stony" and "stoney" spelling variation appear to be used)
Parrish Gray appears to have left a video of himself, embedded below. This video was uploaded by Parrishgray21 in 2008.
In it, he appears to assert himself as a dominant force in the neighborhood universe and to call out enemies by name, some of which are in the "Taliban" gang. He says to these Taliban, "Niggas better get me before I get you." He also says, "It's murder squad or nothing."
"Murder squad" is apparently the name of a group of people, that is to say, a gang.
As previously reported on Johnny Northside, Kyle Hickman is in police custody, charged with being an accessory after the fact in the murder of Parrish Gray. Jaylin Dubose was named in the criminal complaint but his wherabouts are unknown.

Your interpretation is right. & he said that a couple days before his death. Taliban is a clique and murder squad is. Im assuming.he was a black p stone ..

If you "fuck with" somebody, the way I'm reading it in facebook communications lately, that means you hang around with that person? It's not negative, it's positive, to "fuck with" somebody.
But "fuck the 1-9" is like "fuck you, 1-9."

My point once again no encouragement, just humiliation. Good job, that's exactly what young brothers need to see. Is Black P Stone a gang? Originally no it was formed as an organization to empower the black people based on the Moorish American Science. Is the Aryian brotherhood a gang? The 1%'s? Perhaps 60% of MPD? I guess the answer varies depending on who is asked the question. Black people need to be ready to get it together and make a change, for the better!
Yes it is but the name change was Bone Gray he dropped the stoney name because if what it carried and I actually have Minneapolis Police that will back me up on his new life and he didn't just start to turn his life around but he did stop the VIOLENCE years ago was he still getting into some trouble yes but violence toward others no.
