I watched the confrontation between Al Flowers and Don Samuels and I have to say, it's downright scary.

Did you notice that Al says he has a place on "25th and Emerson"? Do you know what this means? There's a fifty-fifty chance that he unwittingly lives in Hawthorne!

Like I said, scary stuff.

What is wrong with Al Flowers? This guy really has some sort of mental problem. I know he is frusturated, but not try to work with people to solve this problem? I am shocked that adults actually act like this. What a distaster.

To the first Anonymous: To my ear, it sounded like he said "twenty-second" and Emerson, not "twenty-fifth." But same difference.

Yes, the "odd side" of Emerson is Jordan, and the even side is Hawthorne. So it becomes a question of whether Flowers knows that. He seemed rather adamant that he now lived in Jordan.

Don't worry, I can just about promise you that he's not living or renting or owning up here on northside. He was just shouting that cause he knows people will tell him to go back to fluffy Linden Hills. He lives at 58 & Knox Ave S - nice digs thanks to his many lawsuits against the city. He has filed suit for this incident also. He is mentally ill, for real, not being funny. There is something in his eyes that make me feel a little sorry for him.

He's one of the rent-a-maniacs that Northside demagogues call in from various parts of the city when they sense that something productive is about to happen in a Northside neighborhood and need to shut it down fast. The sole objective is to wear down residents so that they stop attending meetings, and it's extremely effective.

Note how Al Flowers complained REPEATEDLY about Don Samuels standing in front of him, but never said anything like "Don pushed me, Don elbowed me, Don stepped on my toes."

Al Flowers shoved Don Samuels because Samuels stood in front of him, and Flowers has no manners. Flowers expects to be able to shout at the top of his lungs, rave, interrupt, but god forbid somebody should stand nearby, with their BACK turned to him, then Flowers SHOVES.

Somebody needs to sue Flowers and take back every penny this lunatic has taken from the city through his lawsuits, and put him where he belongs: doing the kind of unskilled manual labor conducive to his complete lack of social graces.
