Here is the latest on the JACC office incident, according to a reliable source.
The office is "just about empty" because so much stuff is missing. There is no sign of forced entry, which would mean individuals with keys were involved. Word is police are checking surveillance cameras that have been installed in the Cottage Park area. ADDENDUM: Subsequent information was received that the description "just about empty" was an emotional utterance; and it is more accurate to say "there are definitely computers missing, huge copy/fax machine gone, how much hard copy records are missing is impossible to know."
Speaking just from my own opinion, here, I halfway expect the individual(s) who took this stuff to announce themselves, and proclaim "We are the true JACC Board, and took the records to keep them secure after an illegal election and ouster of board officials."
I also have to wonder if the conversation I heard in the hallway during the closed session...that talk about "the revolutionary willing to pull the trigger" didn't have something to do with this break-in.
