Meranda Jean Erickson, Present During Death Of Landon J. Pederson At 2401 Ilion Ave. N., Was Convicted On Two Charges, But Two Charges Dismissed, She's Now In Prison...

The mainstream media seem to lose interest in a Northside homicide as quickly as the body cools off or a suspect is arrested but this blog...

I follow up. And follow up. And just keep following up.

Meranda Jean Erickson, who was present at the death of fugitive Landon J. Pederson at 2401 Ilion Ave. N., was facing a raft of serious charges as I reported back in mid-August.

HOWEVER...

The jail roster shows she was released from custody on October 15. Also, the roster shows two of the four charges was dismissed:

HOWEVER, just because she beat two charges doesn't mean justice was denied.

Erickson is now in prison and won't see supervised release until October of next year. Which really isn't very long, is it? But, well, it's something. At least that's a year she won't be on the North side. When she gets out, however, we can expect that slumlord Mahmoud Khan will offer her a new lease.
