insurance fraud?
If it's boarded, it's more than likely bank-owned which would resonablly rule-out insurance fraud....
I can imagine a scenario where this could be insurance fraud.
I pay about $8/month to insure my Blackberry if it's ever lost, damaged, or stolen. Now, let's say I had SEVERAL Blackberries that were "hot" and I needed to get them off my hands. Well I still need a phone.
So, toss the Blackberries in 915 22nd Ave N (or 1564 Hillside) right before a fire or demolition, and call up your cell phone provider. PRESTO! Problem solved through insurance fraud.
