The Facebook Pages Of "Bored Shooter" Malo D. Gomez, Part Two (Obligatory Thug Pose)

Public Facebook picture published under First Amendment comment and criticism, blog post by John Hoff

One North Minneapolis commenter described this photo to me as the "obligatory thug pose," hair blown out and doing a gang sign, like every good thug should when somebody pulls out a camera.

But look carefully. Is the "bored shooter" Malo Gomez accidentally pointing that sign language shot gun at his own head? It would appear so.

Let me give you a little tip all the way from Afghanistan, young man:

MUZZLE AWARENESS. All the time.

MUZZLE AWARENESS, Ha, good point! It appears he does have the finger etiquette down though! Looking at this kiddie-banger sign through the lens of military shooting, it would appear he does practice keeping his finger off the trigger until he fires, unfortunately he did fire, but it seems he's a crappy shot though. Maybe our sign could be the same, but modified with a hooked finger, meaning that our finger is already on the trigger! This sign could be used by anyone who has fought the REAL Taliban rather than some kiddie street-thug Taliban on bikes.

Amazing that he missed a stationary object. I would assume he took a thug style aim rather than the conventional and more accurate upright aim. That being said I won't question if his weapon was recently and properly cleaned as I'm sure it was spic and span.

He did hit the squad a few times, although, he was probably high on blunts and Cheetos. Clean gun? The kid can't probably clean his own ass properly let alone a firearm. Good thing he'll be in prison, plenty of people to help him clean his ass there! Hope his farts sound like a wind tunnel after a month.

I can't help but think this young guy played video games all day until he couldn't tell the difference between real life and video games, as far as consequences.

When my child was little, after he was done playing video games I would say to him, "What would happen if you did those things in the real world?"

And he'd have to say something like, "The police would catch you and lock you away for a million years, or shoot you dead. And you stay dead. You don't get to come back as the same character and play again."

Missed that, probably my constant skipping ahead. But let's not quick to judge, he is innocent until proven guilty...............

That's a legal standard to be applied in court, not a moral standard to be applied in society. People should be free to have opinions based on overwhelming evidence.

You are right Dale, and I hope the cops got the right guy. Regardless, this behavior NEEDS to stop, and public ridicule in this case for the perp., the parents, and the landlord (who probably votes Republican and bitches about government, yet accepts Sec. 8 and feels okay with corralling the state's thugs in North while undermining the city's resources) is more than warranted.

Ever notice how sarcasm doesn't translate well into text?

Malo is brothers with Dashaunta Gomez who is charged with the murder of Keontrell Govan early this year.

Some other kid was just shot tonight too. Jesus, here's the deal. Why? Is it because that these folks are marginally employable at best because of their education, and add a few felonies on the record it's now hopeless? Or, is because of some unknown or undiagnosed mental/ genetic pre-disposition thing? Or, is it simply because North is North and family is family? The fact remains that whatever society you want to call your society. IT'S FUCKING DYSFUNCTIONAL in the grandest of ways. There are many people here willing to help, but you're all fucking trying our patience or don't want it (and I can't really blame you, I get the sociological dynamic). The next step is to just move you all out to the burbs. There is no reason other than politics to why these folks are here, and we can change that.
