Word reaches me in Afghanistan that 2015 26th Ave. N. was recently demolished, after being done in by the North Minneapolis tornado.
However, the long time homeowners are rebuilding on the same spot, and are curently in process of submitting rebuild plans through city and neighborhood approval process.

In answer to your question: no, this blog has tracked some houses that "died and were reborn" in the Eco Village.
This, however, would be the first instance that is entirely funded by the private sector.
You know, I was just thinking...
