Now for some good news...
There is a Facebook page called North Minneapolis Crime Watch and Information. Here is a link, click here, but it won't do you much good unless you're a Facebook user.
The reader demographic which comes to this blog, over and over, would probably really appreciate this Facebook page. In one sense, it will compete with this blog but it's a form of competition I heartily welcome.

I don't know about the crime watch page for the northside, but I know the NE one is a hotbed of fear and racism. They're also in bed with a lot of gun organizations. I honestly think they're trying to spread fear so more people will buy guns.
Somebody told me this page has been around for "a while." To which I say, well, only recently did some of my friends point me to it and I want to point others the same way.
The North Mpls Crime Watch page has not had any threats or other bad things...just one discussion that got a little out of control over politics....
We have live posts from scanners when people are able to do it, we ask for fans to post what is going on in their areas, we look for trends, we bitch to the cops, it's all good.
Would like to work with you Johnny, sharing info. We're not looking to compete, but some people literally live on FB and get all their info from there.
NE page is agenda pushing and no longer reports crime
The NE page has lost its identity some time ago . No longer is crime reported but an agenda of their own.
