NoMi resident Ann Yin has been featured here on JNS many times while covering news and events at her local foods grocery store Local D'lish. In the photo above, Local D'lish employee and urban farming guru Stefan Meyer shows off his remarkable spread of urban grown produce from his farm Growing Lots, click here for a virtual video tour.
But this post is not about local food. It's about local ART!
Coming up this weekend Local D'lish will be opening their store to provide space for local artists to show off their creations and offerings for the upcoming holiday shopping season.
On Sunday, November 14 from 12p to 4p there will be an event called Perspectives – A Local Arts Initiative. Over 20 local artists will be featured and their art available directly to you, no middle man mark ups. There will be coffee provided by Janine's Coffee Shop which is located nearby and live music by The Melvilles.
Head on down to Local D'lish in the North Loop warehouse district and get some holiday shopping done while supporting local foods, local artists and a northside resident-small business owner Ann Yin at Local D'lish.

Thank you John for mentioning this. The artists are very excited and we are thrilled to host such an event.

Awesome! Thanks for posting, it's good to see good things going on in NOMI. Much better than KSTP.
