JNS Blog Blocked By Minneapolis Public Schools Internet Server...

Contibuted photo, blog post by John Hoff

A regular reader emailed me the image above, showing that users of the Minneapolis Public Schools internet server are unable to access the Johnny Northside blog.

I don't know what to say about this except I assume my blog is blocked in a general way (i.e. all Blogspot sites are blocked along with social media like Facebook, common to some government internet servers) and not in a specific way, i.e. the Minneapolis Public School system doesn't want its minions reading how the Minneapolis Public School system was "shaken down" by Don Allen for $15,000, click here, and other stories.

JNS blog has sent an inquiry about the matter to a representative of the Minneapolis Public Schools.

In the meantime, it seems fair to say this kind of thing only makes my blog more controversial and, therefore, more popular.

I'm sure it's a network setting that all social media type websites are blocked. One time I was at a political convention at Henry High school and on my kindle wifi device. I couldn't get to facebook or a variety of other social media sites.

So don't be flattered.

Don't give yourself so much credit - districts block many social networking sites - even those of wannabe journalists who don't even live in the areas which they profess to be revitalizing.

That Don Allen thing - it was a one shot project, so presumably the quality standards did not strike school decision makers as meriting any further business with Allen.

Why, with an existing quality level the fifteen grand was popped, circumstances then being suspect, is the story, probably, more than what the money bought - qualitywise.

Do you or any readers know; does Don Allen present his work product from the fifteen grand expenditure as a sample of what he is capable of? A sort of add-it-to-the-portfolio thing? Or did he produce nothing, while collecting fifteen grand? Has that ever been investigated? A public data disclosure request to school authorities might be a hoot. Show me the work product, all that. Or, just ask Don? The DA of style? He should be happy to showcase his output, that for which he was paid fifteen grand of public [taxpayer] money. Do you suppose the school does not have his stuff archived for the ages?

Keep repeating your falsehood over and over, and perhaps one day you'll even be believed by weak-minded individuals who are susceptible to that kind oft thing.

I believe that this Don Allen in question may have an insider tie to the person in charge Ms. Bernadiea Johnson so it is worth checking into some more.

you would hate for any of these innocents to get the truth about anything including the history of the "SUPER" and why our schools are doing so wonderfully (sarcasm font). it might DON on someone that something ain't kosher if johnny get's censored cherry-picking style.

Damn, sounds like this Don Allen is calling out Al Flowers and making it sound as though Don is some kind of SNITCH.
I think if some accusation like that was thrown my way I would take it personal, Mr. Flowers.

Don Allen also had a few words about Al Flowers in an email he recently sent me. Yeah, Don Allen sure does have plenty to say about Al Flowers.
