I place the evidence in front of my readers and urge you to judge for yourselves: Predatory offender Leroy Barber, Jr. and "Bubbles," lovable crackhead character from HBO television police drama "The Wire."
SEPARATED AT BIRTH?
Click here for his most recent stupid and violent episode, allegedly. And when I say "allegedly," what I mean is he hasn't been convicted yet but take this in the context of his criminal record. Why I bother with that word "allegedly" is beyond me. Freaking HABIT, I guess.
If you search predatory offenders in the 55411 zip code (just plain old predatory offenders, not Level Three Sex Offenders) the first name which pops up is...
...Leroy Barber, Jr., DOB 10/4/56. Barber, whose criminal record is as long as your arm but includes criminal sexual offenses and failing to register as a predatory offender. Here is his extensive rap sheet, though keep in mind not all these charges may represent actual convictions.
In his most recent alleged escapade (see previous definition of "alleged") bad, bad Leroy Barber is accused of bursting into a house at 802 Main Street NE, demanding to see some associated of his whose initials are HMC. There was an altercation and Barber went at HMC's head with a blade; hence his name, "Barber." Somehow, HMC threw Barber out of the house but police were summoned.
HMC told police Barber was drunk and that he "constantly drinks." HMC had made the mistake of allowing Barber to hang out for a few days at that residence. Instead of being grateful, well...
This is how Barber shows his gratitude. Allegedly.
So now Barber is in jail. The criminal complaint on the matter lists Barber's address as 1811 Plymouth Ave. N., Apartment 102. The owner is listed as the Plymouth Townhouse Apartment Association of (good lord) Pasadena, California. However, Fannie Mae (also of Pasadena) is listed as the taxpayer.
