Have We Said GBT4P Lately?
Guest post by the Hawthorne Hawkman. Image from the Minnesota Independent.
For readers unfamiliar with that abbreviation, it's JNS-speak for "God Bless the 4th Precinct." And today's reason for that comes from an incident kitty-corner to the Hawthorne office. Some work was being done at 3000 Colfax Ave N when assailants robbed the workers of their wallets and cell phones. These criminals weren't too smart though. They approached AND left on foot. The soft snow led to perfect conditions that made the MPD's job of tracking them almost too easy. The assailants were caught and the victims had their property returned to them by the end of the day.
Do not click "read more" but do spread the word...GBT4P!

I love warm, fuzzy stories like this!
Now - looking for an opportunity to do some more good - did the police track the criminals to a house of some sort? If yes, does anyone have the address? Was it a rental maybe? If yes to all the above, it sure would be nice to notify the owner of that property about the type of people he has living there or at least hanging out there and maybe take it one step further and urge him to kick their butts out.
Just a thought......
Kevin,
Getting the 4th Precinct highlights and other details about this particular event isn't really my forte. I'm hoping other JNS readers or John himself might be able to provide us with some of those links/details.
How bout bless the ignorance of the sorry fools to be dumb enough to leave the tracks to be followed. Yes GBSC. God bless stupid criminals, to keep them stupid & trackable.

Yes, GBSC... it does make the job that much easier.
I wasn't on this crime scene, but a lot of cop work is luck and this day we got lucky.
