Phenomenally Fast Snow Storm Clean Up At 2603 James Ave. N.

Photos and blog post by John Hoff

During this weekend's snow storm, a big tree went down at 2603 James Ave. N., smashing through the wooden privacy fence and landing on the sidewalk. There was, however, no need to call 311. It was known in the neighborhood that the folks in that house take care of their property, and everybody expected they would get right on top of the situation with the tree.

Sure enough, it didn't take more than a day for the tree to be cut up and removed...at least the portion which had landed on the sidewalk. The top photo shows the "before," and the bottom photo with my 13-year-old son, Alex, shows the "after."
