After Sean Hill was convicted of assault and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, he had only one simple rule to fillow:
Don't be a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
So what did he do, allegedly?

In a type of document that's known for getting right to the point, this one gets right to the point even faster than most...
Police saw him. They chased him. They caught him and recovered the gun he tried to throw away, allegedly. He was spotted on the corner of Irving and Golden Valley Road, and caught near Hillside Ave. and Irving Ave. N., trying to toss the gun away near 1525 West Broadway.
According to the criminal complaint, Hill lives at 1811 Oliver Ave. N., Apartment 1. This is a rental property owned by an entity called Fifth Eastern Land Trust of St. Louis Park. A Google search of that name turns up absolutely nothing. In fact, it appears this blog posting is the first mention on the Google-able portion of the internet of "Fifth Eastern Land Trust."
Odd. Very odd.
I don't know much about them, but I don't like them.

He probably got confused and thought that when they said he was prohibited from possessing a gun they meant that he was required to possess a gun. Perfectly understandable, really. Also, racism. Don't forget racism.
