"Yeah, be cool, I'm not going to fight" said Patrick Mobley, as MPD officer frisked him and found a loaded pistol with one in the chamber...

If a convicted felon is walking around with a gun, you'd think he'd have enough sense not to jaywalk and nearly get hit by a car right in front of a cop, but Patrick Mobley is (allegedly) not THAT smart.

Mobley managed to draw the attention of police downtown, and when he was patted down...

...the officer felt a "hard, metallic object."

"You got a gun?" asked the officer.

"Yeah, be cool, I'm not going to fight," Mobley answered.

The officer found a black semi-automatic, loaded, with one in the chamber. Mobley has already been convicted of aggravated robbery and carrying a pistol without a permit. Looks like he'll be removed from the active gene pool for a little while, thank goodness for the human race.

Mobley's address is 3918 Fremont Ave. N., a rental owned by DeWayne G. Krogstad. This address and this landlord have been mentioned before on Johnny Northside Dot Com, in a blog posting about Cordaryle Lewis Jones, ANOTHER convicted robber.

What's the deal, Mr. Krogstad? Do you REQUIRE your tenants to be convicted robbers?
