Ryan James Mendoza, DOB 6/7/90, was arrested on a charge of First Degree Aggravated Robbery and has a court hearing on May 7. The jail roster lists his address as 133 14th Ave. NE, and this Northside blog reserves the right to venture where we like.
The address in question is a rental owned by John K. Utke, who miraculously lives inside an itsy bitsy postal box at PO Box 18202, Mpls, MN, 55418.
Mendoza's online court records show a conviction for trespassing, ANOTHER conviction for trespassing, a conviction for first degree robbery, and a conviction for trespassing, return to property within one year.

Kenneth Cornell Mitchner, DOB 3/1/72, has no previous Minnesota criminal court record that I can locate in the usual way, but all the same is accused of...
...drug charges, including possessing "not small amount" of weed. Ironically, Mitchner had to face court on "420 Day" for the weed charge.
Mitchner's address on the jail roster is 3526 Lyndale Ave. N., a rental owned by MN Realty and Management, Inc.

Tahon Donvontae Montgomery, DOB 12/6/93, was arrested on a bench warrant for Aggravated Robbery, First Degree and has a continued case for taking, using or transferring movable property without consent. His address is listed as 4526 Bryant Ave. N.
These charges are a shame, because a search of his online court records reveals only a handful of vehicular-related charges. The address where Montgomery reportedly lives is a rental owned by David Haberman, with Kitty A Widdes also listed as a taxpayer, their address is listed as 5417 Queen Ave. S.

Courtney Rose Montour, DOB 9/19/91, was arrested for alleged burglary. She lists her address as 2947 Upton Ave. N., a single family home owned by Baron Sinkfield of the same address. Info from Jailbase.com leads me to believe the original arrest on this charge took place on March 28, and that she was also arrested for alleged trespassing on March 20.
Montour was convicted of prostitution in 1991, and of a disorderly conduct that same year.
The name Courtney Rose Montour, without a DOB, comes up on a court watch document, click here, where she is mentioned as a co-defendant with a guy named James William Graham, DOB 10/25/73, who was charged in association with an alleged burglary.

Rafiq Abduhl Mortland, DOB 5/18/65, is under arrest and formally charged with simple robbery. A "failure to register as a predatory offender" charge shows up on the roster, but it also says "36 hours, expired."
Don't worry, folks, we will get Rafiq Mortland and his apparent address registered right here on Johnny Northside Dot Com, and it's 1422 Golden Valley Road. The property in question is owned by Morris Klock, a notorious slumlord known here on Johnny Northside as "Kuckoo Clock."
Mortland has a list of criminal charges as tall as, well, a full-sized German made cuckoo clock, and here they all are.
Keep in mind not every one of these charges may represent actual convictions.

Obviously, the most interesting charge--and apparently the charge that made Mortland a predatory offender--is the charge for Attempted Criminal Sexual Conduct In The Third Degree. He was convicted, obviously, but really...how refreshing it is to see a sex crime that was merely ATTEMPTED and not COMMITTED.
Well, I was hoping to stack a few more nuggets in the nugget box, but sometimes a guy like Mortland hogs all the nuggety glory and leaves no room for anybody to follow. Really, how are you going to follow an act like that?
But don't worry, we're only to the middle of the alphabet.
