"To who this may concern," Two Turd Burglar Apology Letters Sent To Hillside Ave. N. Burglary Victim...

Photos, blog post by John Hoff

When it comes to the Thanksgiving Day Turd Burglary, it would appear everything is finished but the paperwork...

Click here for previous JNS blog coverage on a juvenile burglary on Thanksgiving in which heroic neighbors helped apprehend seven youth who were burglarizing an elderly resident's house while the resident was out of town. Because one of the burglars took a dump in the toilet, didn't flush it, and wiped his ass with an entire roll of bathroom tissue, the incident was dubbed the "Turd Burglary." The juvenile criminals who pled guilty became known as "Turd Burglars."

Well, now two of the burglars (Darkese Shorter and Diamonte Morris) have sent apology letters, of sorts. The letters speak for themselves, and were obtained by JNS blog under the condition that this blog would not mock the writing abilities of the correspondents because the victim finds the letters "sad."

Indeed, the victim considers the letters to be an indictment of the public education system.

To which JNS blog says: What? THIS BLOGGER give somebody a hard time about their ENGLISH SKILLS?

My goodness, when has this blogger ever done THAT? (Click here for YouTube "grammar Nazi" parody video)

Heroic neighbors? The kids should have been shot in the head and then skull fucked.

I agree with the victim. However, I would include their families lack of involvement with their education. Too many of our children would be better off in boarding schools than with their families. Unfortunately, the boarding schools in our country are only for rich kids.

Get a rapper to run some charter schools in NoMi and all this education chit can be fixed.

I would like to see a little more first person narrative in the letters. Try, "I AM SORRY FOR WHAT I DID TO YOU!" The first letter is pitiful -- total deflection. The second one is better, but I'm just not seeing accountability in either one. And I'm not judging their grammar. I am soley addressing content.

John, maybe you should take some lessons. They write better than you!

They are only doing what the silly fucking courts demand and will soon be burglarizing in a neighborhood near you. The letters of contrition are a joke and so are the people who thinks this shenanigan works.
Just a matter of time before they are all up in yo' shit laughing at yo' collective naïve asses selling yo' grandmothers heirlooms for crack and chronic. Come on, YO! quit being so fucking stupid...YO!
