JNS blog has now confirmed the latest North Minneapolis murder victim, James Henderson Cole, was "J Blockboy Cole" on his all-too-revealing Facebook page. Members of "True North" Facebook forum first made the connection and were confidently discussing Cole's life and the circumstances of his death before Cole was identified by mainstream media.
Cole repeatedly called himself a "Blockboy" on Facebook and was seemingly a rival of a group called the "Glockboyz." One individual known to repeatedly identify himself on social media as "Glockboy President" is...
...Navell Gordon, who was at the center of the recent "Pointergate" controversy. (JNS blog plans to comment on that controversy in the near future but has always prioritized murder over other more minor stories) Here is a photo of Navell, self-identified"President of the Glockboyz."
On his Facebook page on November 10, James Cole posted a video entitled "Die Gleenwood Glockboykkkkkkkk." The repeated use of "k" is widely understood to mean "kill." It should be noted that "Blockboys" was also spelled "Bloccboyz." The short video, it might be fairly stated, involves driving around looking for rivals and being disappointed in not finding any.
On the same date, Cole posted these two lines of what might be rap song lyrics:
Call my nigga j and he knoe wats up
Heard them opps tryna diss so we ridin up
Cole was a rap musician of minor renown and posted a video to a song called "Thot Bitch." The song can be found on "Soundcloud," here is a link:
Actually, posting a link to that song was the last thing Cole did on Facebook. So, in a sense, that song would be his "last words."
Despite what appears some rough lifestyle choices, it must be fairly stated that Cole had a pretty clean record in the State of Minnesota. A search on MNCIS turns up only three traffic infractions. Other information found online shows he was arrested on August 29 of this year on theft charges, but apparently the charges were dropped since nothing shows up in MNCIS. Cole was reportedly from Chicago so unknown if there are any records in Illinois.
Here is an image from Cole's Facebook which reportedly shows the "Blockboys."
(Sarcasm font) Note innocent pointy finger symbols which should not be taken by prejudiced, small-minded people in the Minneapolis Police Union or KSTP to be some kind of "gang sign." (End sarcasm font)
