A regular reader of my blog told me about today's arrest of Charles Anthony Williams-Whigham, DOB 11/1/82, who is currently residing in the Hennepin County Jail where he was received at about 10 o'clock this morning.
One neighbor describes Whigham as "homme du jour" (man of the day) to another local resident, and reports ever since Whigham has been around, "all sorts of unsavory characters have been making regular appearances." This morning was the finale, however, as (reportedly) two ambulances, six squad cars and a K9 unit were present before Whigham was led out in cuffs.
According to the jail roster...
Whigham is under arrest for (alleged) "false imprisonment, probable cause" and domestic assault. He has a "hold" on him from Anoka County, as well as a Department of Corrections hold. The DOC hold is hardly surprising, since it appears Whigham was on parole when this occurred.

In regard to the 5th Degree possession charge, Whigham was found guilty. He has a 21 month sentence hanging over his head, but it was stayed. He's on probation until 3/11/13. Given the fact he's currently on probation, given the seriousness of a potential "false imprisonment" charge, Whigham might be going away for a while...to the relief of neighbors.
At least until the next "homme du jour" shows up with his unsavory associates.
Oh, yes, I should also mention: Whigham's address on the jail roster is 4830 Colfax Ave. N., a rental owned by Sam Holdings Camden, LLC.
