Walter Thompson III was charged recently in a murder which stemmed from four years of domestic violence, click here for Star Tribune article with constant and annoying "you need to subscribe" messages.
There's no connection to North Minneapolis, but I don't see where anybody else has published the criminal complaint, so here you go, click here.

She was the relative of the famous Lonnie Shaw of little league northside baseball umpiring fame. The Shaw's were, and are, great people. Rest in peace, dear.
Do you have any updated info on this story? He is not listed in the hennepin county jail nor is he in the mndoc online search.
No, I don't have any updated info. Not on MNDOC you say? Hmmmm.
I looked up his rap sheet which is so extensive it won't fit into the comment box which only takes a certain number of characters. But it's not showing the most recent charge mentioned in this story. Very odd...
The Strib article is confusing. It talks about the accomplices being charged and almost talks about the underlying murder like it was proven but all I had to publish was a charge sheet. Have you found anything for the alleged ACCOMPLICES being in jail or MNDOC?
I have made a call and confirmed he has not yet been convicted. The murder charge is still pending. If he's not on the jail roster, it's probably because he made bail.
Based on this secondary level of scrutiny after the fact, I have corrected the headline immediately and the text to make it clear this charge is still pending. Walter Thompson III remains innocent until (or UNLESS) proven guilty.
