Last Of The Fourth Of July Fun And Games On The Jordan Pond...

As this blog previously reported, numerous good citizens gathered near Jordan Pond for a great Fourth of July. An event that wonderful has a long afterglow of delicious leftovers, shared photos, renewed relationships and fond memories. Plus lost objects that need to be returned like, well, somebody's digital camera.

Of course, when you have somebody else's photography gear late at night on the Fourth of July, naturally it seems like a good idea to put a few strange pictures on the memory chip. So it was that...

...the camera of a certain JACC board member ("New Majority") had a few extra images when it was dutifully returned this afternoon.

The photo above isn't from the camera but is actually, um, a reproduction. By which I just mean a DUPLICATE not "reproduction" like, um, REPRODUCTION.

Yes, the photo above actually shows folks at the party "putting their heads together," no doubt to solve vexing neighborhood issues. It doesn't show, like, anything else.

Totally unrelated, but some cop cars went by Knox on Lowry, eastbound, around 12:15 or so AM. Wonder what was happening.

Some day my friend is going to buy me a police scanner.

I went there and fooled around with it and HOLY COW!!! All of a sudden my Mac was a police scanner. SO COOL!!!! I just heard "Lowry and Freemont" and a "Code 4."

Um...whatever that means.

I'm hearing this...

"Last name is Jenkins...first name is Willy."

Amazing. There are friends I need to tell about this RIGHT AWAY...
