Fat Lady Sings Loud And Long In "True JACC" Lawsuit As Final Appeal Is Dismissed For, Well, Lack of Jack...

Photo and blog post by John Hoff

The "True JACC" lawsuit, which was a dispute over who was the "true" ruling board of the Jordan Area Community Council, which took twists and turns and dragged on for a number of years with extensive coverage by this blog, has finally come to an end; not with a bang but a whimper...

The final, desperate last gasp of the lawsuit (a dispute over how much the losing "Old Majority" side would have to pay in attorney fees to the winning side) has now been dismissed for lack of a $500 filing fee.

Ouch.

Click here to read the recent court order.

The JACC case was one of a number of cases where attorney Jill Clark dropped the ball in the course of her lawyer disciplinary hearing; not that the case had a prayer, anyway, but all the same...

The ball was dropped.

Enjoy this video called The Fat Lady Sings, Arclight. It is expected that now the fat lady will go around slapping liens on the property of the losers in this case; which is not to say that too many of them are actually property owners with two nickels to rub together.
