On my way to last night's Fourth of July celebration on the Jordan Pond, I went by this house at 2011 26th Ave. N. which appears to be for sale on a contract for deed with easy and affordable terms.
What the sign doesn't tell the casual house shopper is this: the sructure is condemned, and registered as a vacant building.
Anybody looking for homes in North Minneapolis would be well-advised to do their homework. All the same, for somebody who has the money to fix this building--and fix it rather quickly, I might add--this might actually be a good deal. And, hey, I guess a little free blog advertising can't hurt. Though 26th Ave. N. used to be rough, lately there has been a dramatic improvement in livability issues.
