Charlie Brown Is A Bad Man, Allegedly, Charged With Gun Possession...

Oh, good grief! It appears Charlie Brown isn't such a good man after all, at least not according to a criminal complaint filed in August. Click here for a copy.

Charles Bernard Brown apparently remained free with that warrant hanging over his head until November 27, when he was arrested. He remains in jail with bail set at $100,000 and is charged with second degree assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm. According to the complaint...

Brown was picked up three blocks from my house at 29th and Bryant.

OK, the criminal complaint didn't actually mention my house, but that's kind of what leaped out at me when I read it. Officers were responding to a call of a man running with a gun and who should they find but Brown, laying on the ground like he'd just tried to kick a football but tricky old Lucy had yanked the ball away at the last moment. Rather than a football, lying on the ground about ten feet from Charlie Brown was a handgun.

At this point, some females approached and described to the police officers how Charlie had been at a residence nearby, with a gun. When asked to leave he pointed the gun and threatened to shoot one of the females. Outside on the steps he sat down and fired five or six shots in the air, then ran. No doubt he was trying to hit the Red Baron flying above.

Brown reportedly lives at 2915 Dupont Ave. N. This address is a rental owned by Joseph G. Sheroham of Maple Grove, MN.

It sounds like Charlie Brown has psychological problems. I certainly hope he gets the help he needs.
