HACC Chairman Peter Teachout Gets A Reward For Making A Difference (Photo 2)

Rebuilding Together-Twin Cities Project Manager Les Bischoff states he is a former member of the army Special Forces. He's still fond of wearing green, as you can see in this picture. Note his...

...duct-tape name tag. (Name not visible in photo, like it's been blacked out, redacted, classified. How weird is THAT?)

Yeah, I asked Bischoff where he had served, but he preferred to keep that to himself, except I did manage to get a minor admission of the South and Central American area.

Bischoff was very enthusiastic about efforts to de-thugify the neighborhood. And, actually, he passed on a valuable piece of intelligence, though he probably didn't realize it. Yesterday, August 13, Bischoff witnessed individuals moving stuff out of 3024 6th St. N, where sex offender Junaid Maalik has been squatting. Well, yesterday was supposedly the day of Junaid eviction hearing. So if there was activity at the property, that is significant.

I need to find out more about what happened with the eviction hearing. If any activity at the property should be reported to 911 immediately, we need to know that...

But back to Bischoff. Despite his exotic overseas adventures, Bischoff said he'd never had the opportunity to learn about putting in insulation. He was glad to learn from Peter, and spoke well of Peter as a great guy doing important work for the neighborhood.
