Minnesota Daily Story Has The Goods On Aramark

Flickr.com Photo, Today's Nasty Aramark Lunch

I have a connection to this in-depth investigative report which was recently published in the Minnesota Daily, click here...

...but I'm not going to reveal what that connection is, exactly. Suffice to say, at a key point in time I played an indispensable role in making sure this story would happen the way it did. I'm going to take some smidgen of the credit for the sake of the historical record. But the vast majority of the credit needs to go to the reporter on the story, Andy Mannix. A supportive role was also played by editor Vadim Lavrusik.

This piece of journalism could compete with investigative journalism from City Pages (where the reporter has done some work) or any major metropolitan daily before all the good investigative reporters started getting fired as a cost cutting measure to compete with the impact of the blog-o-sphere.

But Aramark still haunts University Dining Service, and until this corporation is out on its ear...there is much work left undone.

If you want to read more--A LOT MORE--about Aramark and how evil they are, go to the Minnesota Daily website (www.mndaily.com) and just use "Aramark" as a search term. You'll turn up the half a dozen or so columns I wrote on the subject.
