J.C.'s Barbeque At Former Harold's Chicken Shack Location...

Photo And Blog Post By John Hoff

A barbeque joint called J.C's is set to open at 2117 West Broadway, the former location of Harold's Chicken Shack. The previous business was part of a chain out of Chicago, click here for more info. That business was shut down some years ago as a front for money laundering, according to my sources. This whole episode was pre-Johnny-Northside-arriving-on-the-scene, so anybody who knows the story in detail, feel free to send me a long email at hoffjohnw@gmail.com

Hopefully, J.C's will be something better. But nobody is holding their breath. What I wouldn't give for a high class, sit down kinda restaurant on West Broadway.

as much as i must object to a dead animal industry enterprise like "the chicken shack," i have to say that the videos themselves are actually pretty good!! lol

The songs sound professional, the videos look professional, but we may have different ideas of what "pretty good" means.

I don't care for lyrics like

You see us in the clubs/
Ballin' offa drugs
