Riddle me this: Why would the mainstream media report about a murder in North Minneapolis and go out of their way to say it happened on the 2300 block of Queen Ave. N. and not mention the specific address?
But then, in the "B roll" footage for the story, the camera focuses on "2311" as the street address? (Click here for that story)
Whatever.
Well, if that address is of interest, let's dig into that address. Keeping in mind that much depends on whether the choice of "B roll" has any logic or was just a picture to flash across the screen...
The address in question is a duplex, a fact mentioned in media coverage about the murder of a woman in her 40s with two children. The master address for the duplex is 2309 Queen Ave. N. and the property in question is a rental owned by James E. Swartwood of 5537 Dupont Ave. S. The address was in foreclosure in 2007. No sales information is on the city property website because the city property website sucks as usual.
Three names turn up at the address over the years.
* Keyanna Reed, whose cell phone was listed at that address and turns up online. This name is hard to nail down, but I have strong indications she is NOT in her 40s.
* One of the jail rosters I publish monthly shows "Arthur Almyiorn," whose date of birth is 9/11/89.
Of course, the only place on the internet that name shows up (Almyiorn, Arthur) is my republication of the jail roster, leading me to believe that name is fake, misspelled, or this guy is some illegal alien whose contact with the American judicial system was oh-so-brief.
* Yvette Pigrum lived there at one time, according to Radaris. Her birthday is in July of 1964.
All in all, I can't get a very good grip on this one to pull any facts loose.
I need a NAME.

A reader who corresponded with me by email and did searching on their own is also of the opinion it is 2309 Queen Ave. N., which is a duplex and also includes 2311 Queen Ave. N.
The victim of a stabbing death in Hennepin County this week has been identified as a 43-year-old Minneapolis woman.
The medical examiner's office released a statement Saturday saying Lolitta Marie Malone died of multiple stab wounds.
She was found dead in a home Thursday about 3:30 a.m.
No arrests have been made. The case remains under investigation.
This is the 27th homicide of the year in North Minneapolis. There have been 40 in citywide.
Anyone with information is asked to call 673-2941 or the department’s Tip Line at 612-692-TIPS (8477). The case number for this incident is 12-393839.
Henry Love was listed along with the victim, Lolitta Malone, in an eviction action.
James Swartwood v. Lolitta Malone, Henry Love.
Case number 27-CV-HC-12-5890. Keep in mind Swartwood is still the current landlord at the address were the victim was found.
Nothing on Henry Love in MNCIS but some kind of federal case turns up. More on that later.
Here is that federal case...

Swartwood has long been active with the landlordpolitics group and an infrequent fringe candidate for public office.
Is there a connection between what happened at his property, and his group's affinity for less landlord accountability? I would say a small one at the very least.
I attempted to cross reference Swartwood operated properties with the JNS Jail Roster. Not only Swartwood operated addresses were found at the JNS Jail Roster.

Before finding the mugshot (www.bustedmugshots.com/minnesota/minneapolis/james-elliot-swartwood/59605131) some prior charges were viewed at the court records website. Who would ever have suspected?
