Photo by John Hoff, September 1
Here is another photo I got just seconds after the one in this post, (click here). Note there are three black-garbed figures running toward the lower left corner of the picture. One of the figures is just ahead of the guy in the white hat, white t-shirt to far left. The others are ahead of the two women and just to the left of the red-covered parking meter. The girl in the brown top, black skirt is further up the street from the photo in the other post.
These are apparently anarchists who managed to get away from the police and rejoin the march, probably dumping identifying items like black bandannas. Some of the journalists in this picture are moving toward the sound of explosions, hoping to capture some action on film.

Being the amazing, true-to-life adventures and (very likely) misadventures of a writer who seeks to take his education, activism and seemingly boundless energy to North Minneapolis, (NoMi) to help with a process of turning a rapidly revitalizing neighborhood into something approaching Urban Utopia. I am here to be near my child. From 02/08 to 06/15 this blog pushed free speech to the envelope, so others could take heart and speak unafraid. Email me at hoffjohnw@gmail.com
