Photo by John Hoff, September 1Here is another group from the pageant (for that's what it was) at the State Capitol during the September 1 march and rally. They would just stand like that. Very eerie.
I looked up "Derek Gardner," the name on the sign to the left. He was a Marine who died when somebody drove a vehicle up next to his convoy and detonated a large bomb.
