Photo By John Hoff, September 2In Mears Park, several hours before the Poor People's March was set to begin (though the Star Tribune MESSED UP THE TIME in their Sunday edition) I noticed one of the port-a-johns was oversize to accommodate handicapped patrons. I'd never seen that before but I hope to see a lot more of it. Progress! Yeah, the U.S. Constitution was trampled beneath black police jackboots, but I'm an optimist; and something like an innovative outhouse makes me feel good about civilization and humankind.
