At some point, I went over and licked the large "D" in "Democracy."
"Nobody can stop me," I said. "I'm licking the big D."
That's how much I love democracy. Enough to put my tongue on it.
Many at the rally felt compelled to walk up to the sculpture and touch it with their hands. Yup, it really was ice.
