Halek's is on Facebook!
Post and photo by the Hawthorne Hawkman.
In the midst of the bustling Hawthorne nightlife scene, Connie Nompelis, Brian Finstad, and quite a few others met up on Friday night to go from Good Sports Bar & Grill to Donny Dirk's, and then Halek's. At the last stop, we noticed that Halek's now has a Facebook page. Two, to be exact. You can either become a fan, or send them a friend request.
(Do not click "Read More," but do support local businesses.)

ADDENDUM: In my haste to get this post up after pouring a lot of emotion and energy into the previous post, I neglected to mention a crucial detail.
While quite a few of the "regulars" on this blog (and others) did indeed go to all three Hawthorne nightlife spots, the evening got its start at Good Sports for a different reason. Megan Goodmundson organized a get-together for Brian Reichow and his fiance Chriss Garlick. Chriss is great, and Brian's a lucky man. We're lucky in NoMi too, since he's persuaded her to move from Maplewood into our neighborhood.
